Jabalpur Engineering College Welcomes its New Academic Block: 27 September 2023

On September 27 September 2023, the newly constructed Academic Block of Jabalpur Engineering College was officially inaugurated with grace and dignity. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri Ashok Ishwardasji Rohani, an honorable Chief Guest who also serves as the MLA for Cantt. Joining this momentous occasion were Shri Sant Singh Parihar, a distinguished Member of the General Assembly, and Shri Akhilesh Jain, a respected Member of the Education Body.

The occasion commenced with a warm and cordial welcome of all the dignitaries in the Jashan Auditorium, followed by the formal inauguration ceremony held in the Academic Block. The proceedings opened with the solemn veneration of Goddess Saraswati, a ritual performed by all the esteemed dignitaries present. This sacred act was followed by an enlightening speech delivered by Dr. P.K Jhinge. In his address, Dr.Jhinge conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to Shri Rohaniji for his unwavering and enthusiastic support.

Shri Rohanji, in his address to the gathering, conveyed his deep appreciation for the college and expressed his pride in its rich historical legacy. The event was wrapped up with finesse as Dr. Anubha Maheshwari expertly handled the vote of thanks and the role of compering.

The new building, with a subtle platinum glow, was a necessity to accommodate the growing number of branches and students. The symbolic ribbon-cutting by the Chief Guest marked the official opening of the building, signifying a new chapter in the institution's journey. As the doors of the new building swung open, once again, the blessings of Goddess Sarasvati were sought, marking a spiritual and intellectual connection to the institution's rich traditions.
