JEC Students' Participation in the 'Ahimsa Run, Run for Democracy' on 31 March 2024.

The historic "Ahimsa Run, Run for Democracy" began at Kamaniya Gate. This event was organized jointly on 31 March 2024 by the District Administration, Municipal Corporation, and Jain International Trade Organization to raise awareness about voting. People of all age groups participated enthusiastically, making this year's run an integral component of the voter awareness program, promoting an innovative approach. Key officials such as Mr Deepak Saxena, the Collector; Mr Aditya Pratap Singh, the Superintendent of Police; Ms Jayati Singh, the CEO of the District Panchayat and nodal officer of Sweep; and Ms Preeti Yadav, the Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation, played pivotal roles in the event's success. More than 20,000 citizens took part in this run, inspiring people to embrace the principle of "Live and Let Live" by Lord Mahavir, as well as encouraging them to vote in the Lok Sabha elections scheduled for April 19, 2024. The voter awareness program emphasized the importance of global peace and harmony. Additionally, it promoted urban cleanliness to strengthen ongoing cleanliness campaigns.
