Semi-Final Showdown: Street Play Competition with Voter Awareness; 19 October 2023

The Collector's Office and the District Election Officer have organized a District-Level Street Play Competition with patriotic fervour, focusing on themes like "My Vote, My Right," "The Essence of Voting," and "Election Awareness." The event was held at Shri Ram College, Jabalpur on 19 October 2023.

Shri Pramod Srivastava, the District SVEEP Coordinator, stressed the importance of these competitions in enhancing voter turnout. The competition commenced at Shri Ram College, Jabalpur, with spirited semi-finals on October 19th and 20th, 2023, leading to the grand finale on October 21st, 2023. On the first day, participants from 21 colleges passionately showcased their talents, and Jabalpur Engineering College stood out, securing the top spot in the semi-finals. Judges for the event were Shri Prakash Kulkarni, Shri Rakesh Kumar Kamle and Shri Rakesh Kumar Kurele who assessed the performances. All participants received trophies as recognition for their contributions.

Under the expert guidance of Dr Atul Sharma and Dr Durgesh Nandini, along with unwavering support from the Principal Dr P.K. Jhinge and the dedicated committee members, the street play performed by Jabalpur Engineering College participants highlighted the pivotal role of the youth in shaping the future of our great nation.
