"Three Vice-Chancellors Share a Platform at JEC's Induction Program for BTech First-Year Students" on 11 September 2023:

The Unveiling of ‘17thJigyasaBrochure/जिज्ञासाविवरणिका- 2023’of MahakoshalVigyanParishad took place at Jabalpur Engineering College on September 11, 2023. This event was the result of a collaborative effort between the MahakaushalVigyanParishadand several other institutions.Principal Dr. P.K. Jhinge's efforts united three vice-chancellors at this important event, which was harmoniously incorporated into the 2023-24 Induction Program for first-semester BTech students, emphasizing the role of scientific knowledge and innovation in their educational journeys.

During the event, the guest, Dr Kapil Dev Mishra, who serves as the Vice-Chancellor of Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur conveyed a profound message by highlighting that Indian science aspires to foster a sense of global unity and interconnectedness, engulfed in the ancient Sanskrit phrase "VasudhaivaKutumbakam," which means viewing the ‘entire world as one family’.

Dr. P. K Mishra, the Vice-Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru Agricultural University, Jabalpur, emphasized that the current era is characterized by intense competition. He expressed the view that today's age is essentially an age of competition, and it is crucial for students to always remain well-prepared for various competitive challenges and opportunities, particularly in the realm of student competitions.

Dr. Ashok Khandelwal, the Vice-Chancellor of Medical University, Jabalpur, emphasized the importance of curiosity in students when it comes to learning science. He shared his belief that science truly begins at the point where thinking reaches its limits.

Shri K.C. Sharma, Chief Engineer at NPCIL, highlighted the substantial career prospects awaiting science students in the nuclear power sector. JEC officiating Principal Dr. Rajeev Chandak urged students to participate in competitions.Principal Dr. Rajeev Chandak urged students to actively participate in various competitions to enhance their skills and broaden their horizons.

The 'Jigyasa Brochure' featured detailed information about the forthcoming National Workshop, which will be organized by the MahakaushalVigyanParishad. In her introductory remarks, Dr. Sunita Sharma emphasized that the theme for this National Workshop is 'अंतरिक्षमेंआत्मनिर्भरभारत' or "Self-Reliant India in Space," with a primary focus on popularizing science. She further added that this National Workshop, spearheaded by the Mahakaushal Science Council, is scheduled to take place from October 3rd to October 7th, 2023.

Each day will feature enlightening lectures by prominent scientists and additional activities are planned for students from schools and colleges. These activities include competitions such as poster painting, speeches, essays, poems, and model-making. The event will come to a close on October 7th, and all student participants will be awarded certificates. It's important to note that students can participate in these competitions free of charge.

Thecoordination and efficient conduction of the event were skilfully managed by Dr. Shilpa Saxena, Dr Kamal Kumar Kushwaha and Engineer Prabhat Dubey, whose hard work and

dedication significantly contributed to the overall success of this momentous occasion. The event concluded with heartfelt gratitude expressed by Dr. Kamal Kumar Kushwaha, extending sincere thanks to all those who played pivotal roles in making the event a resounding success.
