Joint Efforts for Education: A Collaborative Initiative by JEC’s Physics Department-25 August 2023.

To promote research activities, an MoU was signed between Jabalpur Engineering College and ShyamSundar Agarwal College, Sihora, on 25 August 2023. This collaboration was officially established through the signatures of Dr PK Jhinge, Principal, Jabalpur Engineering College, Dr Kamal Kumar Kushwaha, HOD, Department of Applied Physics and Dr R.K Mathews, HOD, Department of Chemistry, Government College Sihora. The signing ceremony took place in the JEC Principal's chamber. The main goal of this partnership is to promote and enable shared academic and research endeavours that will benefit both departments involved. As a result of this agreement, MSc students enrolled at Government

College Sihora will have the opportunity to access and utilize the advanced laboratories of Jabalpur Engineering College. This provision is intended to enhance their learning experiences with hands-on practical exposure. Additionally, both the Applied Physics and Chemistry Departmentwill collaborate in organizing new projects, seminars, and workshops and consequently present hopeful opportunities for students in the times ahead. The Applied Physics Department of JEChas state-of-the-art resources, including advanced tools like high-temperature equipment, vacuum furnaces, glass refining tools, glass shaping technology, and an electrochemical workstation. In recent years, students' interest in science courses has grown noticeably, and this collaboration aims to support and encourage that trend. By backing science-focused students, the partnership aims to prepare the path for budding scientists who can contribute significantly to the field.
