Department of Applied Physics organised an Educational Visit to Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur on 5 April 2023:

The Department of Applied Physics of JEC hadentered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Department of Physics of Rani Durgavati University (RDU), Jabalpur. This visit was initially approved and encouraged by Dr P.K Jhinge, Principal JEC. Under this MoU, a one-day visit was organised by the Department of Applied Physics, JEC to the Physics Department of RDU on 5 April,2023. Durgesh Nandini visited the University. The visit was organised for the promotion of research and the exchange of technology between both departments. During the visit, the students became acquainted with various unique equipment like Atomic Force Microscope, Hardness Tester, and Vacuum Coating Unit. They became conversant with the Luminescence lab, Software based Experiments etc. An interactive session was also organised for the students by the professors to address their queries. Dr Rakesh Bajpai, Prof R.K Dubey, Dr Rinkesh Bhatt and Dr Pallavi Shukla of RDU had a detailed discussion with the students on various research activities carried out at the university level. At the end of the visit, Dr Kushwah expressed his gratitude for the cooperation given by the entire staff of the Department of Physics, RDU. He was confident that this visit would definitely be helpful in the research activities of both departments in future.
