Educational Excursions in Harmony with Swami Vivekananda's Vision for Practical Knowledge on January 13,2024.
On January 13, 2024 Dr. P.K. Jhinge, the Principal, following the guidelines of Madhya Pradesh Technical
Education and Skill Development Department, organized several educational excursions for college students in
different batches to different sites in Jabalpur.Emphasizing the importance of practical exposure, Dr.Jhinge
entrusted Dr. Agya Mishra, the Head of AI Department, with the responsibility of guiding 40 students to the
Hydel Power Plant and Bargi Dam, situated only 30 kilometres from the city. A bus was arranged for the students,
to visit the site, and gain first-hand insights into the practical aspects of their studies.

The visiting team received a warm welcome from Er. Vivek Bajal, who engaged personally with the students.
Er. Rohit provided technical insights by explaining the Dam Gate functions during the interaction with the students.
During their trip to the Hydel Power Plant and Bargi Dam, students learned how electricity is made and how the control
room works. They also saw how digital systems are used to fix quickly any issues in the power generation process.

The control room was an important part of the visit. Students saw how different systems cooperate smoothly and
understood that digital technologies are essential for monitoring and managing the power generation process.
The on-site engineers explained the control systems in detail, highlighting how modern technologies make operations
efficient and accurate. The college organized these educational excursions as part of the National Youth Festival flagship program,
aiming to align with Swami Vivekananda's vision. The goal was to integrate theoretical knowledge with real-world experiences and
foster holistic learning among the students.
