JEC, the First College in Madhya Pradesh to declare final year results and hold a Graduation Ceremony on 23rd May 2023
The Graduation Ceremony for the BTech Final Year 2023 students of JEC, was held at Jaishan Auditorium
on 23 May 2023. The programme commenced with the veneration of Goddess Saraswati and the customary
lamp-lighting ceremony. The Principal Dr P.K Jhinge,then gave a floral welcome to Dr Ashit Shukla,
Examination Controller, JEC, as a token of
appreciationfor declaring the result of the VIII Semester well on time. This was followed by a floriated welcome
given by Dr Kanchan Khare,to all the Heads of the departments to express gratitude on behalf of the Examination Team
for their sincere contribution in assisting the completion of the valuation work and in finalizing the result.
Dr Jhinge, while addressing the new outgoing graduands of JEC, said that their alma mater has fulfilled its duty of equipping the
students by providing them with a firm footing to face the challenges in the global world. Now it is their responsibility to prove their mettle and live
up to the reputation of this illustrious institution. He appreciated the arduous endeavour
of the Examination Team in making JEC the first college in Madhya Pradesh to declare its
final year results of the 2022-23 batch within such a short duration.Dr Ashit Shukla, praising
the new batch of engineers, said that the covid pandemic had adversely affected the student's writing ability.
But the overall result of the college (97.18%) symbolizes that they have now
overcome this shortcoming. The Heads of all the departments,in their brief talks,conveyed their
good wishes and blessings to the young budding engineers. This was followed, by courtesy speeches
made by the new engineering graduate speakers,who extolled the impact of the college in shaping their future.
The Head of each Department along with Dr Jhinge and Dr Shukla distributed the certificates
and provisional degrees tothe top five merit list holders.
The students who did BTech Honors were also awarded certificates for their additional attempts,
in their academics. The certificate distribution ceremony was conducted with the assistance of
Prof. Hemendra Patel, Prof. Pradeepti Lakra and Prof. Sudeep Mohaney.
Finally, the transition ceremony for students into further phases of their lives was concluded with a vote
of thanks by Dr Vasudha Saxena. She wished them a successful life journey
filled with happiness and fulfilment. The stage was efficiently steered, by the compering of Dr Kanchan Cecil.
