NPCIL Conducted the ‘Nuclear Public Awareness Program’ as an initiative under Atam Nirbhar Bharat: on October 14, 2022.

The Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL) has launched a nationwide campaign to spread awareness of nuclear energy. In this series, NPCIL, in collaboration with Chutka Nuclear Power Project (Madhya Pradesh) and Jabalpur Engineering College, organised a Nuclear Energy Awareness Programme on October 14, 2022. This event was a necessary fragment of Atam Nirbhar Bharat. The chief guest of the function was Dr P.K Jhinge. This programme featured a talk on ‘The Need for Nuclear Energy’ by Shri S.K Gumaste, Additional Chief Engineer, NPCIL. Shri K.C Sharma, the Additional Chief Engineer, NPCIL, shared the methodology of the working of Nuclear Power Plants with the students The programme was very informative and provided the students with enormous knowledge on various aspects of nuclear energy.

Nuclear Energy Public Awareness Rally & Quiz Program by NPCIL under Atam Nirbhar Bharat at JEC: October 14, 2022 The students of JEC took out a Nuclear Energy Public Awareness rally under the banner of NPCIL. To make the rally more appealing and captivating, the NPCIL officials provided the students with white T-shirts with the logo of NPCIL imprinted on them. An open-ended question forum was provided for the audience, and all their queries related to nuclear power were addressed by the Executive Engineers of NPCIL, Shri Kapil Gupta and Shri Karanjeet Debnath. A Quiz programme was also organised by them in which 100 students participated. The results of the Quiz competition were immediately declared, and the winners were given prizes as a token of appreciation. The entire program was efficiently conducted under the supervision and guidance of Dr Bhawana Jhariya & Dr Agya Mishra.
