Unlocking Knowledge: Educational Excursions Conducted on National Youth Day on 15 January 2024
Dr. P.K. Jhinge, the Principal, arranged Industrial Visits/Educational Excursions for college students in different groups to
various sites in Jabalpur. This initiative was in line with the directives of the Madhya Pradesh Technical Education and Skill
Development Department, aligning with educational guidelines as part of the National Youth Day and Makar Sankranti celebrations from
January 11 to 15 January, 2024.
In conjunction with these broader activities, Dr. Bhavna Jhariya, the Head of the Electronics and Telecommunication
Engineering Department, also arranged an Industrial Visit for the final year and third-year students of B. Tech on January 15, 2024,
to BSNL, BRBRATITT Jabalpur, M.P. The group comprised 40 students, accompanied by HOD Prof. Dr. Bhavna Jharia, Asst. Prof.
Namrata Sahayam, and five Guest faculties: Dr. Pankaj Sahu, Prof. SonalLaad, Prof. Renu Ben, Prof Richa Thakur, and Prof.
Harinarayan Shukla.

Upon arrival,Dr. M. Shukla, GM, BSNL, welcomed the group and shared insights into the upcoming 5G installation project in the city.
Dr. Pankaj Rai, PRO, and International Motivator, along with Behrani Sir, then guided the group to the conference room, emphasizing the
importance of industry exposure and how the visit would benefit the students. The students split into two groups: one group visited the 3G GSM
Lab guided by Shri Behrani, and the other explored the mobile station Lab with Anurag Sir. They learned about different generations
of mobile networking, their nomenclature, and the software used for testing efficiency.

Approximately 20 students from the Department of Information Technology, along with their faculties, also participated in the visit.
The educational excursions were organized as part of the National Youth Festival flagship program, aligning with Swami Vivekananda's vision
of integrating theoretical knowledge with real-life experiences to promote comprehensive learning. In conclusion, Dr Jhinge's commendable efforts
in coordinating these educational excursions, in harmony with National Youth Day have greatly enriched students' learning experiences..
