Applied Physics

• Nearly 47 years ago, that is, in 1962, this department was established with the in take of 15 students in post-graduate classes. The faculty members are well qualified and extremely committed individuals with a keen desire to achieve academic excellence for the students of their department. It has several laboratories which are well maintained with good experimental-facilities for B.E. and P.G students. Research work is being actively carried out under the guidance and supervision on the faculty members.

• HIGHLIGHTS

  1. One of the senior staff members was invited in an International Conference held at Mainz (Germany) in June 2007. He is again invited to present his research paper in Trondheim (Norway) in June 2010. He has authored two books on Physics. He has published one research paper in an International Journal this year.
